Nearby Lagrangians are simply homotopic - Abouzaid, Mohammed (Auteur de la Conférence) | CIRM H

Multi angle

I will describe joint work with Thomas Kragh proving that closed exact Lagrangians in cotangent bundles are simply homotopy equivalent to the base. The main two ideas are (i) a Floer theoretic model for the Whitehead torsion of the projection from the Lagrangian to the base, and (ii) a large scale deformation of the Lagrangian which allows a computation of this torsion.

How algebraic is a stable model category? - Roitzheim, Constanze (Auteur de la Conférence) | CIRM H

Multi angle

There are many different notions of 'being algebraic' used in stable homotopy theory. The relationships between those turn out to be unexpectedly subtle. We will explain the different ways in which a model category of interest can be algebraic, explore the different implications between them and illustrate those with plenty of examples. This is joint work with Jocelyne Ishak and Jordan Williamson.

Prismatic and syntomic cohomology of ring spectra - Hahn, Jeremy (Auteur de la Conférence) | CIRM H

Multi angle

I will explain a construction of the motivic filtration on the topological cyclic homology of ring spectra, generalizing work of Bhatt–Morrow–Scholze and Bhatt–Lurie on the topological cyclic homology of discrete rings. This is joint with Arpon Raksit and Dylan Wilson. As time permits, I will discuss works in progress using the motivic spectral sequence to obtain new calculations in algebraic $K$-theory and prove higher chromatic variants of local Tate duality.[-]
